MYOFASCIAL RELEASE :

Myofascial pain syndrome is a chronic pain disorder caused by sensitivity and tightness in myofascial tissues. These tissues plays a crucial role by surrounding and supporting the muscles throughout your body. The pain usually originates from specific points within your myofascial tissues called “trigger points.”

In order to break up scar tissue release muscle tension, a combination of light stretching and massage is used which is called myofacsial release. The process is repeated multiple times on the same trigger point until the tension is fully released. Myofascial release mainly focuses on reducing pain by easing the tension and tightness all the trigger points.

An application of moderate traction and twisting techniques coupled with gentle stretching is done in order to treat myofascial release. Our therapists use these techniques in order to release muscle tightness, increase blood circulation in muscles and to mobilize fat tissue. As a result it helps in decreasing body weight and improves overall health and maintain fitness.
